We have received approval from both the Town of Yorktown and the NY/NJ Trail Conf for the construction of 3 new trail segments in Sylvan. See the dotted lines on the attached.

Weekends are no go for me these days so I will be working on this in bite size pieces weeknights starting next week. Starting at 6 -6:30 for 2 hours or so. Let me know if you can help and will try to work with your schedule. Its a lot of raking and clearing deadfall. Then we can assess the larger rock wall crossings and chainsaw trees that need work.

Thanks all!!!

Planning to go tomorrow, Tuesday 5/16 at 6:00 from the dirt lot on Stony St. Send me a PM on here first if you plan to do any solo work. Thanks!

It is a go for 6pm tonight at the dirt lot on Stony St. Bring a rake, handsaw or clippers, gloves water and bug spray. Thanks.
