I witnessed a few 4 wheelers and 2 wheelers racing around the green, pink and white trails in Granite Knolls on sunday morning..I was not close enough to say something and didnt think a call to the police would do anything..Thoughts?

I've nearly been run down by 2 kids on dirt bikes in there. Very frustrating...

You basically just keep following the Yorktown Trailway north. The trail is on the west side of the Taconic parkway pretty much the whole way. It's basically a motorcycle/ATV trail for most of the way, not the best for mountain biking, but mostly ride-able.

Thanks much, Ive seen that from the TSP and will check it out. Looks like a messy moto trail so I'll fatbike it.

Pedaler- At one point Ralph Pruitt had it pretty well cleaned up and rideable all the way from 301 to Rt 6. You can find him on FB on his Bike Rides page or at Pawling Cycle on 22 in Patterson.

Yeah we were in there yesterday afternoon and there were a few spots pretty torn up. I did some smoothing of ruts they left so it wouldn't turn into a real mess when it rains but there are quite a few churned up corners.
