Anyone have any idea if Graham Hills will be rideable tomorrow? (Sunday 1/22)

Hi all. Jim from Dutchess. 909 was not rideable yesterday (Jan 25) even with 5" studded fat bike tires. 2-4 inches of wet snow make for no traction and major slippage. The weekend does not look promising either. What do the trails in Westchester look like?

Actually I'm betting that early, while it's still frozen, will be good to great. The stuff on the ground up there is dense and the surface will freeze into a nice supportable crust. Sunday morning will most likely be better than Saturday then Monday and Tuesday it looks like Krusty the Klown will be in town especially further north.

Contrary to popular belief, GH was in great shape today. Zero mud, only 3 little areas on blue that hold a little water (easily avoidable). My bike came out perfectly clean. I'd rate it 8.5/10. If I didn't blow a front tire I would give it a 9. It will only get better with colder weather.

Agreed. GH was mint last night. Colder temps and no precip should keep it good for a bit

Blue wasn't bad today. Definitely wetter than GH, but very rideable. Unless you're a douche, you can avoid most of the wet spots. Overall 7/10. Sunday should be a little better.

Looks to be pretty cold Saturday, and Sunday AM. I'd aim for Blue in the AM.

Hi guys, been a very long time since I have posted haven't been doing any mtb until recently...Anyone been to Yorktown after the storm yet? Thinking of hitting it up on the new Farley at like 630am Saturday if you guys report it being not to deep...If not then going to do an aqueduct/gatehouse bridge/dam ride just for fun to mess around.
