Just curious has the "just for fun" category been omitted this year? =Clydesdales, outlaws and fat bikes.
Don't see it listed.

Fatties racing over rocky chunk. Pick your tire pressures wisely! Gulp.

I usually like around 9/9.5 rear for non-snow riding - keeps my tires generally air-filled

The route typically isn't shared until a few days before the race - keeps trails from getting ridden (and mary-ed) to hell. Also, I imagine the weather/trail conditions will play a big role in which trails are included. If it's a mud fest, we won't want our sweet single track all torn up for the rest of the summer. So you can expect quite a bit of double track unless the trails dry out and firm up very soon.

True, not to mention all the pre-rides weeks coming up to it, and the course the day or two before (probably another 5000 miles!).

I just registered for cat-2. I'm shit-outta-shape so it's gonna be a blood bath but I want to run in cat-2 this year so what the hell.
