Great race course, thanks lads!
I would have loved to stick around to see the Cat 1's clear some of the stuff i walked.
...like to the huge log pile on lthe bottom of monster that has been on the last few races, with a buch of roots after it. i t looks ridable but I haven't gotten it yet. I end up walking like 50', which makes me sad

...and the stream crossing much later iin the lap. Were people making that?

I made the log pile once. The stream was a no go for me...

HUGE thanks to the WMBA for hosting yet another successful Chain Stretcher!

I was just thinking - what year was the first one? 2003? Time flies! :)

You weren't alone, mshred. I've ridden there 100s of times and unclipped on top of that log-over both times yesterday. Then the roots that followed were so slippery, I was skipping my way through half-clipped.

The stream crossing however was no problem. Stay slightly left, carry your momentum and never stop pedalling. Looks sketchy, but rolls through just fine.

One thing to think about for 2015 would be to have someone in the parking lot directing people where to park... there was definitely a lack of parking spaces in-between the Cat 3 and Cat 1 starts... just a thought...

Have the results for Chain Stretcher 2014 been sent to USACycling?
If not can you please do asap?
Results from Chain Stretcher can help local racers in start positioning and ranking for the MTB Championship 7/17-20/14 at Bear Creek, Pa.
Thank You.

Torque read my post again. You missed something.
The results need to be sent to USACycling in order to get race credit, ranking and posible race call-up.
I saw the forum posted race results.

Thanks clevernickname
