Such is life. Time changes things. Those old toe-straps you used to love are no longer needed. Where are those bar-ends you used to smash trees with? Rim brakes? There is evolution in revolution… as time marches on and technology insistently pushes forward, propelling us to the future, thrusting us into the pioneering adventures of the mountain biker in the 21st century. Welcome, and embrace it.

While the forum was a great arena for verbal battles of wit and semi-anonymous courage… the time of forums’ demise everywhere is upon us. The WMBA forum is closing and we will focus our communication efforts here at the site and Facebook WMBA group. If you haven’t yet, join us on Facebook and retain your seat at the table of reindeer games.

Well, it has been a wacky run these last ... 15 years? 20? Yeow!

Things have come a long way from the original CABN spreadsheet, and Jonathan Z's website. (I think there might have been a website even before that?) Looking forward to what the next decades will bring.

Well, I'm not tossing the forum out. It is going on the shelf next to the Onza bar ends, the Suntour 7spd top-mount shifters, and the Trek Y-Bike full suspension frame.

Facebook - ugh. Someone tell Zuckerberg we need a grant for a MTB complex at his old Alma Mater, Adsley High School. It will only cost him a tiny fraction of his ~66 Billion. If things are really tight, we could get by with as little as half-a-billion.
