Rode Yorktown from Strang today. Couple of fatties ahead of us. Overall was very rideable.
Hit Sprain on Saturday, that was a chore, but was able to blaze a few lines running 4 psi. The drifts were pretty alarming... you could be chugging away over 9 inches or so and then, bam 18 inch drift. Float, float, float..

Hiked around GH past few days. Not ready. Mud, slush, snow, ice. As we do away with the latter, there becomes more of the former. Even 2 days drying would do wonders. Please stop rain.

I'm thinking about a recon hike tomorrow afternoon, Thursday. Unfortunately, more rain on the way Friday/Saturday.

I cut the log out at the bottom of the Escapade, Yin/Yang connector trail. I was able to move it enough that there is a rideable line there but not enough to open the jump line back up.

Is a chainsaw needed?

I think just a couple of folks should be able to move it well out of the way. My dog and I weren't going to get it much more than I did. There is a clean line there now I just wouldn't go launching of the rock on the right. I posted photos to Trailforks.
